I teach IB Psychology only, with a focus on HL and SL exam technique, ERQs, SAQs and Internal Assessment planning. I’ve worked with students who knew the theories well but struggled to write clearly under timed conditions, so my lessons often centre on structuring answers, using studies properly and avoiding vague evaluation. I particularly enjoy teaching cognitive processing and abnormal psychology.

Hi, I’m an IB Psychology tutor and I keep my lessons quite practical. We usually start with whatever is causing the most trouble, whether that is remembering studies, writing concise SAQs or getting the IA into shape. I’ve tutored IB students for 5 years and I’m very familiar with the difference between knowing the content and actually getting marks for it.

I specialise in IB Psychology and have supported students through both Standard and Higher Level. My background is in developmental and clinical psychology, but most of my tutoring is centred on exam responses, research methods and IA feedback. I’m fairly direct in lessons and like students to practise writing often, as that is where most marks are gained or lost.

I only tutor IB Psychology, so I spend a lot of time on the syllabus rather than general psychology. Students usually come to me for help with approaches, options, command terms or the IA. I’m especially interested in sociocultural psychology, and I like using real examples to make studies easier to remember without turning lessons into long lectures.

I’ve taught IB Psychology online for several years, mostly to Year 12 and Year 13 students preparing for mocks, final exams or IA deadlines. My lessons are structured but not stiff: we might compare two studies, rewrite a weak paragraph or plan an ERQ from scratch. I’m careful with terminology and often spend time on evaluation, as that is where many good students drop marks.

My IB Psychology tutoring is mainly for students who want clearer essay plans and sharper use of research. I cover HL and SL content, but I do not teach other curriculums. I’ve helped students with biological, cognitive and sociocultural approaches, plus IA design and reporting. I tend to work from past questions so lessons feel close to the real exam.
